Rental Team Member

This position has two different spots available:

  • Full time (5-6 day/week)

  • Part-time (1-2) days/week)

The rental team member will be heavily involved in all different aspects of the business, from driving shuttles and gear to the river to staffing the lot in town. The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, have experience driving a trailer, and also know how to drive sales. This is someone who loves being outdoors (and really loves being around the water!), and is excited to share their passion and stoke for spending the summer in Driggs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Staff the corner lot in town and assist customers with scheduling and reservations.

  • Drive the shuttle van to collect/drop off gear and help customers with rental equipment.

  • Ensure customer safety and provide paddling instruction to ensure successful trips down the river.

  • Keep lot, equipment, and vehicles clean and organized.

Qualifications

  • Be a self-starter and team player with a positive, “can do” attitude.

  • Be easygoing, have a sense of humor, and thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment.

  • Ability to think outside of the box and be sales driven and oriented.

  • Have previous experience in hospitality and outdoor recreation (preferred).

  • Clean driving record and experience with backing a trailer (preferred)

  • Ability lift 50 lbs. overhead and work outdoors in a hot environment

  • CPR/First Aid certified (preferred).

Compensation

  • $20/hour + tips

  • Free use of paddleboards and equipment (depending upon availability).
